Im Jacqueline, an integrative, neuroaffirming therapist supporting adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm and neurodivergence. I offer a calm, steady therapeutic space where you can explore your experiences safely and at a pace that feels manageable.
About me and my practice
As a neuroaffirming specialist, I do not pathologise difference. I work respectfully with autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive and otherwise neurodivergent clients, honouring sensory, emotional and cognitive needs. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded and tailored to your nervous system rather than a onesizefitsall model.
Many clients come to me feeling exhausted from coping alone, masking their needs or feeling disconnected from themselves. I help you understand your patterns with compassion, regulate your nervous system and build internal safety so that longterm change becomes possible. My approach blends somatic awareness, traumainformed practice and bodyup/braindown therapeutic methods to support emotional stability and resilience.
As an RTT Specialist, I work with Rapid Transformational Therapy, a therapeutic approach developed by Marisa Peer that draws from psychotherapy, CBT, NLP and hypnotherapy. RTT aims to identify the root meaning and origin of the challenges youre facing, helping you understand how certain beliefs or emotional patterns first formed.
Like other forms of therapy, we prioritise creating a safe, steady space where your nervous system can settle and you can gently become an informed observer of your inner world. Together, we explore how and where limiting beliefs, anxiety, stress, phobias, worry or trauma may have become stored and how they continue to influence thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships and wellbeing.
Unlike some traditional approaches, RTT is designed to support quicker insight and meaningful shifts, helping you move away from longheld patterns and towards updated, healthier internal narratives. The process focuses on rewiring unhelpful beliefs and strengthening new, supportive ways of thinking and feeling creating a programme that works for you and aligns with who you are becoming.
Experience
I hold extensive experience devising and delivering mindful wellness sessions and healthylifestyle programmes, as well as managing a local DofE provision across a range of youthwork settings. I have also worked as an Adult Mental Health Advocate and Coordinator, supporting individuals to navigate services and have their voices heard.
In addition, I previously worked as a school counsellor, providing both 11 and group sessions aimed at reducing barriers to learning and ensuring an inclusive, accessible service. My approach in schools was playbased, traumainformed and neurodiversityaffirming, offering individualised support tailored to each young persons needs.
Alongside this, I have worked as an associate counsellor, offering therapy for NHS staff and providing solutionfocused therapeutic support, including work around eating disorders. Across all roles, my focus has been on creating safe, supportive spaces where people can understand their experiences, build resilience and develop strategies that genuinely help them move forward.
